good morning. 6am and it’s pretty dam windy and cloudy outside. a great day to work on my computer so that’s what i’m going to do. i checked the waves and it’s really small. actually the smallest it’s been for the past 3 months. is our best summer over? i hope not. i’m here for 2 more weeks and i want to get a few more barrels before i go to okinawa and get a few more. haha… gosh, i have a busy busy traveling schedule this year and i’m freakin ready. all i need is one surfboard, one spear gun, and one camera. oh, and my passport. since the airplane tickets from japan are so dam cheap now, i’m going to be on standby to fly to anywhere. even fly back home to hawaii for a few days if i can. i heard it’s only $190 for a round trip ticket so why not? anyway, i better get going because if i don’t finish up with my work, i can’t go anywhere…. have a nice day!!!

\ni was looking through some old photos yesterday. i found this one. i took this at a secret spot a few years ago from a secret mountain with snakes and monkeys. do you know where it is? pretty nice wave yeah? and if somebody can tell me who this is, i will send him this photo for his own memory. japan doesn’t get big often so days like these are the days to remember….

\nif i had to describe aki ogura in one word, it would be “COOL.”
\ni met aki about 5 years ago on a 2 week luxury boat trip to the maldives. we had a blast!!!
\nthen last summer, we went on a trip to maui. that was super fun too!!
\naki’s really photogenic and has different kind of looks in different kinds of photos.
\nthis is my favorite photo of aki on that maui trip….
