{"id":18847,"date":"2012-06-16T13:16:29","date_gmt":"2012-06-16T04:16:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=18847"},"modified":"2012-06-16T13:16:29","modified_gmt":"2012-06-16T04:16:29","slug":"volleyball-g-shock-and-malaria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=18847","title":{"rendered":"Volleyball, G-Shock, and Malaria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>good evening.  did you see the clouds this morning?  my sister called me and told me to look up.  i looked up and WOW!  coolest cloud formation in the sky.  not to often you see it like that.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=18849\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-18849\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/photo-51.jpg\" alt=\"photo 5\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-18849\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nwent surfing with Mika-san.  Mika-san is a very strong and athletic girl.  she caught 20 waves and rode it all the way in, then paddled back out with a smile on her face.  after surfing for 2.5 hours, she wasn&#8217;t even tired.  come to find out, she&#8217;s a volleyball player in japan.  MIka-san, i&#8217;m glad you caught so many good waves.  keep on surfing this summer and see you again in hawaii!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=18848\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-18848\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/photo-42.jpg\" alt=\"photo 4\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-18848\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nin hawaii, it cost like $35 just to change the $2 battery.  before i would just let the battery die and get a new watch.  now, i just change it myself.  sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn&#8217;t.  this time, it did.  this G-Shock will last me another 2 years.  yeah!  now can somebody tell me how to set the time and tide?  haha.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=18850\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-18850\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/photo3-640x480.jpg\" alt=\"photo3\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-18850\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nbefore i go to indonesia, i always worry about malaria.  yeah, i get bit by mosquitos all the time.  lots of people get malaria and people even die from it.  i&#8217;m glad nobody got malaria on this trip.<br \/>\nanyway, been back to hawaii for 4 days and everyday the waves and weather have been perfect!  i&#8217;m super stoked to be back home!  going surfing everyday!  see you in the water!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>good evening. did you see the clouds this morning? my sister called me and told me to look up. i looked up and WOW! coolest cloud formation in the sky. not to often you see it like that. went surfing with Mika-san.
