\nthe other night we wanted to eat something light for dinner. so we walked over to mcdonalds in waikiki and ordered a saimin. at $3, you can’t beat this tasty local style noodles in clear broth soup. i use to eat this everyday when i was a kid.

\ni’ve seen some really aggressive people that aren’t from hawaii surfing bowls recently. i even had an encounter with an aggressive surfer from japan that dropped in on a lot of of my friends, and acted as if was a local. no he wasn’t. i asked him nicely to go in. he did. kewalo’s is different. everybody out there is local. and if you come from another country and drop in on surfers out there, you will be in a lot of trouble. you surf out there, you learn how to be humble. so what i’m trying to say is, respect all the surfers where ever you go surfing. if you do, there shouldn’t be any trouble. but once you cross the line and disrespect locals, i’m sorry but i can’t help you. the only thing i can do is drive you to the hospital and save you a $500 ambulance bill.
\n**one last thing, there’s a 4th of july parade this evening in waikiki. starts at 6pm to 7:30 so stay away. i’ll be singing and dancing to jason mraz live! can’t wait.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
