Keith will be giving us the up to date surf report from Taiwan.  i went scouting for waves in Taiwan 17 years ago.  went from taipei all the way down to kenting.  backpacked it by myself catching airplanes, trains, busses, taxi&#8217;s, and even hitch hiking.  seen some amazing lineups and even took some photos.  i knew there were waves down there and i just had to see it for myself.  then right after that, i was introduced to indonesia so haven&#8217;t had the time to go back to Taiwan.  well, now that we got the up to date surf report, don&#8217;t be surprised if you see me there for the next typhoon.  haha.  go big, go naminori!  hope to see you soon Keith!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=21496\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-21496\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/photo-6-640x477.jpg\" alt=\"photo-6\" title=\"photo-6\" width=\"640\" height=\"477\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-21496\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nwhen the water cleans up, i&#8217;ll be on one of those waves.  anybody want to join me?  Taiwan is super close to japan so we can get there in a few hours.<br \/>\n*here&#8217;s a brief profile on Keith.  check it out.<br \/>\nBorn and raised on Oahu Hawaii and worked in the surf industry for 25 years. Moved to southern Taiwan to escape the crowded line ups and traffic on Oahu. Taiwan has over 900 miles of coastline (it&#8217;s an island) so the potential for surf is endless with not much surfers.
