hello, what a weird weather day. super cloudy and rainy morning, then got sunny, then cloudy, windy, and dark again. in fact, it’s storming outside my house and actually pretty cool. gosh, i love this weather. finally i’m cooled down. had a lot to do today but managed to jump in the water for a few waves. secret spot of course because today is sunday. then did a small photo shoot this morning with alyssa. got some nice photos.

\nonly had 10 minutes to spare and i was hungry. skip lunch or eat somewhere fast. fast and friendly equals rainbow drive-in. guess what i ordered.

\na locomoco bowl! i use to eat these every single day on the way to work when i was 17 years old. i worked in a little parking booth in a waikiki hotel parking lot. i use to let me surf friends park for free and when they came back from the beach, i use to be so jealous. i worked 6 days a week from 7-5pm. OMG! i’m glad i woke up and went to college. but eating this locomoco reminded me of the hard times and turning point of my life. it use to cost $2.15 but now $3.95. that’s inflation!

\nthen tonight i felt like eating something local. so went to eat the best oxtail soup on the island. it was so good! now it’s bedtime.

\nlast, i dug deep into my iphoto for some old photos and found this one. the young alyssa wooten with shinny teeth. i told her today that i was going to post it and i’m sure she’s pissed off now. but hey, i like this photo. this is the young alyssa that has grown into a very successful young woman. go-alyssa!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
