 the buoy came up but no waves?  i watch for 5 more minutes and see nothing.  so i take the boards out of my car, hook up my boat, throw in the spearguns, and head to the east side.  toda-san and takami-san haven&#8217;t seen the beautiful east side from the ocean view so today was the perfect day.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26043\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26043\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/photo-311.jpg\" alt=\"photo 31\" width=\"640\" height=\"147\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-26043\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nit was absolutely perfect!  i call my nephews, they drive from the north shore, and we all went out.  while i was unhooking my boat, my old friend from high school told me where to find tako.  we went straight there and the rest is history.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26042\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26042\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/photo-1.jpg\" alt=\"photo 1\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-26042\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nhere&#8217;s my diving buddies for today.  toda-san, takami-san, joshua moniz, and seth moniz.   5 guys on my little boat.  and my little boat was running perfectly!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26037\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26037\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/photo-34.jpg\" alt=\"photo 34\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-26037\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nseth jumped in and found a tako within 5 minutes.  then josh grabbed one too.  these kids don&#8217;t really know how to grab a tako out of the hole yet so i was coaching them underwater.  then when the tako climbed all over their body, i just took video and laughed.  haha.  it&#8217;s called &#8220;paying your dues.&#8221;  haha.  this is joshua wrestling with a huge tako.  the tako won!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26039\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26039\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/photo-33.jpg\" alt=\"photo 33\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-26039\" \/><\/a><br \/>\ni see antennas.  what?  lobster?  no way?  i haven&#8217;t seen a lobster in 10 years on this island.  i swim down slowly, i grab it, wrestle it out of the hole, and bring it to the cooler.  i was so happy to see a lobster in the ocean in hawaii!!!!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26040\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26040\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/photo-35.jpg\" alt=\"photo 35\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-26040\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nthis was only half way through our dive.  check out the 6 tako, and mix bag of fish!  today we hit the jackpot!!!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26041\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26041\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/photo-31.jpg\" alt=\"photo 3\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-26041\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nthen we went to the sandbar to eat lunch.  i asked toda-san to take this photo of my nephews and me.  i will never forget memories like the ones we had today.  i was so proud to see these kids mature in the ocean that made me mature.  ever since i started getting hard core into free diving, my life has changed for the better.  healthy, comfortable, confident, and satisfied.  these kids are on their way to a well balanced lifestyle.  surf and dive?
