{"id":26581,"date":"2012-11-20T02:44:33","date_gmt":"2012-11-19T17:44:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=26581"},"modified":"2012-11-20T02:44:33","modified_gmt":"2012-11-19T17:44:33","slug":"argentina-day-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=26581","title":{"rendered":"Argentina Day 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>i get off the airplane after a long 10 hour flight.  tired and jet lag, i change some money into pesos.  taking a cab is the easy way to i jumped in a bus and headed to the big city.  i get off, look around, find a place to stay, drop off my bags, eat lunch, and head back to my backpackers hostel.  it&#8217;s only 2pm and i feel like it&#8217;s midnight. take a nap?  i&#8217;ll probably never wake up.  stay up?  i&#8217;ll be a zombie.  the difficult choices i have to make huh?  haha.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26582\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26582\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/photo-317.jpg\" alt=\"photo 3\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-26582\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nit&#8217;s pretty different here.  not too many people speak english and if you don&#8217;t speak spanish, you&#8217;re lost like me.  can&#8217;t communicate so i&#8217;m finding things out the hard way.  walked around for an hour before i found a decent place to eat. it was pretty good but i have no idea what i ate.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26584\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26584\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/photo-118.jpg\" alt=\"photo 1\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-26584\" \/><\/a><br \/>\ncool little stands everywhere.  super cool culture.  i just wish i spoke spanish.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26585\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26585\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/photo-412.jpg\" alt=\"photo 4\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-26585\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nfruits looking fresh, but my iphone photo looking blurry.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26586\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26586\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/photo-213.jpg\" alt=\"photo 2\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-26586\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nevery where i look, i just stop and stare.  i&#8217;m learning that this country is nothing like any other country i visited before.  it&#8217;s very interesting with very beautiful people.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26583\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26583\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/photo-54.jpg\" alt=\"photo 5\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-26583\" \/><\/a><br \/>\ni checked into a room with 8 bunk beds.  then i told myself, &#8220;there&#8217;s no way i&#8217;ll be able to sleep with 7 other people.  so i go to a 4 bunk bed room.  it&#8217;s going to be a very interesting and very long night tonight.  i&#8217;m glad i have my earplugs and eye mask.  i was planning to take a 18 hour bus ride up north tomorrow but one guy told me there is a big transportation demonstration strike going on.  oh well, i&#8217;m stuck here for a couple of days so i&#8217;ll probably end up exploring this huge city of Buenos Aires.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=26587\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26587\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/IMG_7766.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_7766\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-26587\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nno, this is not argentina.  this is china.  my sister and kelia are there now for the longboard championships.  i wish i were there.  good luck kelia!
