{"id":27237,"date":"2012-12-11T13:50:45","date_gmt":"2012-12-11T04:50:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=27237"},"modified":"2012-12-11T13:50:45","modified_gmt":"2012-12-11T04:50:45","slug":"we-are-surfers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=27237","title":{"rendered":"We are Surfers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=27241\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-27241\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/photo-110.jpg\" alt=\"photo 1\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-27241\" \/><\/a><br \/>\ni wanted to congratulate Kiyotou-san for completing the honolulu marathon.  he came all the way from shikoku and we surfed 2 days ago.  then he went to hike up diamond head that afternoon.  then he ran the marathon yesterday, then when i picked him up this morning, he was ready to get out of waikiki.  so we went to the north shore.  i already knew where i was going to take him but he didn&#8217;t.  we parked the car, got our boards out, and walked down the beach.  he asked where we were going to surf and i told him &#8220;Pipeline.&#8221;<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=27242\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-27242\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/photo-29.jpg\" alt=\"photo 2\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-27242\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nHe caught 6 good waves at both Pipeline and Backdoor, then we had to go back and get a few photos because i&#8217;m sure his friends aren&#8217;t going to believe him.  the waves were so fun today and not too many guys out.  felt good to be surfing some power waves!  good job Kiyotou-san!  have a safe trip back to japan.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=27240\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-27240\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/photo-2-copy.jpg\" alt=\"photo 2 copy\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-27240\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nKatsura-san is the best trainer\/swimmer\/stretcher in the world.  super good at what she does and a really hard worker.  now that surfings in her life, i&#8217;m sure the energy she gets from the ocean will give her more power to work harder and harder.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=27243\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-27243\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/photo-3-copy.jpg\" alt=\"photo 3 copy\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-27243\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nInaida-san told me that he feels the healthiest he&#8217;s ever felt in his life.  and i&#8217;ve seen with my own eyes his body form into a surfers body ever since he picked up a surfboard.  healthy means happy.  great surfing today!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=27239\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-27239\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/photo-1-copy.jpg\" alt=\"photo 1 copy\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-27239\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nYuki-san&#8217;s surfing level is going up so fast that other surfers in the water are even surprised.  wave knowledge, style, and grace.  kelia moniz better watch out because Yuki-san might be the next world champion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>i wanted to congratulate Kiyotou-san for completing the honolulu marathon. he came all the way from shikoku and we surfed 2 days ago. then he went to hike up diamond head that afternoon. then he ran the marathon yesterday, then when i picked him up this morning, he was ready to get out of waikiki.
