{"id":28551,"date":"2013-01-18T13:35:46","date_gmt":"2013-01-18T04:35:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=28551"},"modified":"2013-01-18T13:35:46","modified_gmt":"2013-01-18T04:35:46","slug":"score-north-and-south","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=28551","title":{"rendered":"Score North and South!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>i was stuck in traffic for so long this morning.  2 accidents that backed up things for miles.  i almost U-turned 2x but decided to go out anyway because today might be the last good day for a while on the north shore with the onshore winds coming this weekend.  i finally get to the beach and it was much bigger than i thought.  i grab my board, put on my leash, and paddle out.  the energy of the ocean was amazing.  so powerful and so much water moving around.  a solid ground swell breaking over shallow reef!  i catch a couple of waves, come in and grab my camera, and start shooting.  yes, i&#8217;m a very hard worker!  haha.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=28553\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-28553\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2043-copy.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2043 copy\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28553\" \/><\/a><br \/>\ntoday was the kind of day where you have to wait and be patient.  local wave knowledge helps too because there were only a few good waves coming through.  this one, nobody was lucky.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=28554\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-28554\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2047-copy.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2047 copy\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-28554\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nand these are the kind of days that you can get the wave of your life.  big, thick, shallow, and strong.  if you make it, you&#8217;re feeling pretty dam good!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=28555\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-28555\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2106-copy.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2106 copy\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-28555\" \/><\/a><br \/>\ni was stoked to see <a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/jeffhubbard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WORLD CHAMPION BODYBOARDER AND OFFICIAL GO-NAMINORI BLOGGER JEFF HUBBARD<\/a> in the water today.  this guy is amazing!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=28552\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-28552\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2109-copy.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2109 copy\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-28552\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nand Jeff makes everything he tries to do.  a true world champion!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?attachment_id=28556\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-28556\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2125-copy.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2125 copy\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" class=\"alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium alignnone size-medium wp-image-28556\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nand another kid getting barreled!  the deadliest barrel in the world.<br \/>\ni came back to town before lunch, ate at my secret spot, and went surfing again after.  beautiful waves, beautiful weather, and beautiful people all day long!  great life huh?
