good morning. 5:30 am and small waves in town. knee high if your lucky. gosh, this summer has been tiny here in hawaii. i’m ready for some big real waves. where are they? japan has been quiet too this year as far as typhoons. i’m getting impatient…. my bags are packed, and i’m ready to fly out at anytime. please let me know when there are signs of swell. i wanna surf!!!

\nsince i started working out, i always thought that “no pain, no gain.” so when i go to the gym, i don’t mess around. i go in, do my business, and get the heck out of there. yesterday just took me a little longer to get in the groove. my shoulders and arms were killing me. and now it’s killing me even more….

\nyesterday after i went to the gym, i wanted to eat something healthy. i was thinking about where to go and remembered somewhere! Good to Grill in Kapahulu!!! i headed on down there and ordered the misoyaki grilled chicken with brown rice and potato salad. it was so good…. and get this? only $5.99. what a deal!!!

\ni have great news!!! our server crashed many times yesterday after we opened web magazine vol. 3. “Service Temporarily Unavailable due to capacity problems” means, too much traffic. in a car on a highway, it’s a big bad problem. but on a website that crashes because of too many users trying to access the web page, it’s a big beautiful problem. we get millions of hits each month and after this summer, expect bigger and better things. i’m freakin excited!!!

\nno, hayato isn’t holding a little red bloody baby by the neck. hayato is holding a huge fresh liver from a pig we got out of the mountains a couple of years ago. we ate the whole thing raw and it was the best liver sashimi i’d ever eaten. i think we’re due for another one? one wild boar is enough to feed 50 hungry japanese liver lovers. can’t wait!!!
\nanyway, i was at the moniz house last night for dinner. we ate steak and fresh opihi from molokai. can you believe tony stand up paddled from molokai to oahu? that’s nuts!!! a true waterman… and get this, my nephews started getting into spear fishing!!! i’m so happy. i’m going to go with them free diving right now!!! i’m pretty freakin excited!! have a wonderful day!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
