good morning 3am. arrived here at 5pm last night and when i got off the plane, i felt like i had 5 red bull drinks. i was so awake and confused. it’s 20 hours ahead here and my body is wondering what’s going on???? went to the beach for a bintang at sunset time. the sunsets here are so amazing! and the food is amazing too!

\nwe went to a chinese restaurant in kuta. they have huge fish tanks in front and you choose what fish you want to eat. the chinese guy was trying to get me to order the grouper. but after taking a good look, they looked a little tired, and not so healthy.

\nthese fish looked like they just came out of the ocean. super fresh and lively. so we had them grill one bali style and it was the best fish i’ve ever eaten in bali.

\ncrab, fish, clams, vegetables, soup, and rice. what more could you ask for?

\nsuper good crew up here. Hideyoshi Tanaka, Takobo-san, Kinsan, Kimura-san, and a lot of bintangs!

\nthe talk of the town is the ASP contest, and the big south\/west swell coming soon. everybody is waiting, so am i. i’m excited to be here with my friends, excited to eat good food, excited to surf, and excited to enjoy this vacation.
\ni was so tired that i got a room for myself. i thought it was going to be a good night of sleep. so when i get back, i lay down, close my eyes, and wake up 1 hour later to a huge mosquito bitting all night. going to get going to the beach. have a wonderful day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
