La Paz to be exact.  Kyle and the crew at Red Sea Ocean Adventures had this trip planned for a while.  i had it marked down on my calendar for the past 6 months and if the timing worked out, i was going to jump on it.  japan was my first choice as i&#8217;ve been surfing typhoons every year for the past 21 seasons.  unfortunately, there are none as we speak so instead of waiting around for waves in the deadly heat, i decided to take the mexico trip.  yeah, it&#8217;s super hot, but i&#8217;ll be on a boat and in the water all day long.  i haven&#8217;t dove for a while, but i&#8217;m sure the first drop under some deep blue water will feel super refreshing.  i&#8217;m looking forward to diving in such a beautiful country with big fish and sharks swimming around.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/palapas-ventana.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/palapas-ventana.jpg\" alt=\"palapas-ventana\" width=\"550\" height=\"309\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-36606\" \/><\/a><br \/>\ni&#8217;ll be staying in one of these huts right on the beach.  dive all day, relax all night.  just what i need!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/photo-219.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/photo-219.jpg\" alt=\"photo 2\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-36607\" \/><\/a><br \/>\ni have to travel light so i&#8217;m just taking just the basic necessities.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/photo-412.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/photo-412.jpg\" alt=\"photo 4\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-36608\" \/><\/a><br \/>\ni always set a goal on every trip.  my goal on this one will to spear the biggest fish i&#8217;ve ever speared.  am i prepared?  no.  i&#8217;m just going with the flow, relaxing my mind, and if that big fish crosses my path, i&#8217;m taking him out!  i think i&#8217;ll be dreaming on the flight tonight as i try to sleep.  i arrive in mexico tomorrow afternoon and the first thing i&#8217;m going to do is drink a corona, and eat a taco.<br \/>\nand the super cool thing about this trip is i&#8217;m going to japan straight from mexico!  yeah, it&#8217;s time to visit friends in tohoku and see how things are going there.  a short 3 day trip to sendai and ishinomaki should be fun.  i really miss the people we&#8217;ve met on our We Are One missions and i&#8217;m looking forward to seeing them again.  i think my life is moving too fast, but it&#8217;s just too hard for me to slow down.  my goal each and every night before i sleep is &#8220;i had a very satisfying day!&#8221;  and when i wake up the next morning &#8220;i&#8217;m very thankful that i&#8217;m going to experience another beautiful day!&#8221;  life is just so amazing!   enjoy it before it&#8217;s too late.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ok, after a lot of time on the computer, emails, phone, and instinct, i decided to go to mexico!
