 i was driving to the beach for an evening surf session when my friend Dr. Brent called me up to invite me for an evening dive.  i u-turned, grabbed my dive stuff, and headed down to the harbor.  a 20% of me wanted to surf, but the other 80% wanted to dive.  so dive it was!  and while we were out on the boat, the moon was out and looking at diamond head felt like a dream!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/photo-120.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/photo-120.jpg\" alt=\"photo 1\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37604\" \/><\/a><br \/>\na boat filled with very educated people.  doctors, dentists, professors, researchers, photographers, bikini designers, and me the surfer.  i love meeting people, especially cool people!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/photo-222.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/photo-222.jpg\" alt=\"photo 2\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-37605\" \/><\/a><br \/>\ni got home at 7:45pm, changed, and met my friends down at imanastei at 8:15.  they told us a 1 hour wait so instead, we ate at Doraku.  it was my first time and the food was awesome.  anything that has to do with japan is awesome!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/photo-1110.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/photo-1110.jpg\" alt=\"photo 11\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-37606\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nthis restaurant is new and located on kapiolani blvd.  happy hour starts at 9pm so the food and drinks are pretty much half price.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/photo-318.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/photo-318.jpg\" alt=\"photo 3\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-37607\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nthe super hot spicy tuna rolls were super hot and spicy.  a doraku signature dish.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/photo-223.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/photo-223.jpg\" alt=\"photo 22\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-37608\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nwanted to wish Kristi a happy birthday!
