on my last morning in okinawa, i woke up early and looked out the window. seen some fun waves, few people, and super clear water. so i grab my board and paddle out. caught a few fun ones while i watched the sunrise. it felt super good and refreshing! good thing i slept early the night before or i would have missed this moment.

\nabout the night before, it was a raging night for every okinawan. the orion beer fest was crazy! so many people having such a great time! i was pure sober so people watching was super entertaining. it’s so cool watching okinawan’s loving okinawa!

\non the table next to us were a young group drinking out of a beer bong. what’s a beer bong? an oil funnel attached to a hose. pour a beer in there and it will go down your throat in 2 seconds. i must have seen them drink 20 beers in the 30 minutes i was there. then when i seen this girl do a beer bong, i thought to myself “OMG!” i would lie to you if i said i haven’t done that in my youth. but now, no way!

\nafter the rage at the beer fest, we had a drink at Oceans. then when i seen the party starting to heat up, i snuck away and went home. that was a very smart thing to do because in the middle of the night, 3 drunk friends came and shook me to wake me up. i was fast asleep and they kept telling me “let’s go drink! let’s go surf!!!” haha. i couldn’t get mad because i’ve done that many of times before. that’s just okinawa style and i kind of like it! that’s how we show our love down there! haha.
