\nOMG, pipeline was as perfect as it gets yesterday for the pipeline pro contest. some amazing rides and amazing memories. a contest that will go down in the history books of professional surfing.

\nso happy to meet the coolest people every day. Sayoko-san surfed so good yesterday. i hope she enjoyed her first trip to hawaii and will come back again.

\nwhen ever i surf with someone for the first time, i always start from the very basics of surfing. once the basics are down, the rest is just too easy. great job Sayoko-san! and when people tell me they caught the longest waves in their lives, i’m very satisfied!
