i let Reika use my go-pro yesterday. check out the photos.

\nif you want to spear fish in hawaii, you have to have good bottom time. drop to the bottom, wait patiently, and when you get the shot, take it. here we are at my super secret spot full of fish, turtles, and sharks.

\nand yes, spear the fish in the head if possible. this is “kole” and happens to be the best fried fish in hawaii.

\ntake it off the spear, then put it on the floater. i use to put the dead fish on my weight belt but i don’t feel like getting bit in the ass by a hungry shark so i started using my floater again.

\nfish are smart so you kind of have to out smart them. if you attack, the will run away. but if you wait on the bottom for a while, the fish will start to get curious. that’s when they start coming back to you. and that’s when i take the shot.

\ni could hear the thunder from underwater. and then i could see the lightning bouncing off the surface. Reika asked me if it was ok and i told her “yes.” i lied. it was actually freaking dangerous when i think about it. that’s just the kind of life i live so cannot help. haha.
