\nhad a great time with Goki-san this morning. today was his 50th birthday! yeah, this young man is 50 years old. i can’t believe how energetic and powerful he is. the waves were perfect today and he had one of the best sessions of his life. good job Goki-san!

\nthen we went to eat some poke, then some pho after. i guess you can say we were hungry.

\ni passed by diamond head at 1pm and the waves were going off! super perfect but i chose to go home, relax, turn off my phone, and watch football on tv. gosh, it’s been over 7 years since i watched a super bowl.

\njust got the recent Hawaii Skin Diver magazine. i was surprised to open it up and see something so familiar.

\nthis is a photo from our last mexican trip. Kyle Nakamoto took this photo of me bringing up my huge pargo. i ended up taking shots at 6 of these, lost 2 shafts, and brought up 3. these fish are the strongest fighting fish that will take you in the cave with them. i’m glad i’m still alive when i think about how many times i almost blacked out.
\nevery single male in america watches the super bowl. 111.3 million viewers to be exact. and guess how much one 30 second commercial costs? $4,000,000!!!! omg! that’s 409,300,000.00 Japanese Yen. how crazy is that? anyway, every commercial is great, but there is always one that makes me go “wow!” check this commercial and tell me if it made you say “wow” too.
