{"id":4240,"date":"2010-11-22T00:43:44","date_gmt":"2010-11-21T15:43:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori3.sakura.ne.jp\/kirbyfukunaga\/2010\/11\/22\/tiger-shark\/"},"modified":"2010-11-22T00:43:44","modified_gmt":"2010-11-21T15:43:44","slug":"tiger-shark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=4240","title":{"rendered":"Tiger Shark!!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>good morning.  yesterday was a great day off for me.  i felt like i jumped into my tv and entered the discovery channel or national geographic channel.  what we seen in one day takes a lifetime for the majority of the world to experience.  kyle, kathy, and i headed out to the deeeeeeep blue water and encountered fish, birds, and sharks.  i checked my dive log on my watch and recorded 53 total dives with the average dive at 50&#8242; with 1 minute 24 seconds average per dive.<br \/>\nhere&#8217;s the math.<br \/>\n50&#8242; deep one way so 100&#8242; down and up per dive.  that&#8217;s a total of 5,300&#8242; or  1,615 meters of diving.  include the swimming in current and multiple drifts, i&#8217;d say i swam 10,000&#8242; or over 3000 meters.<br \/>\ni held my breath for more than 1.5 hours.<br \/>\nwas i tired driving home?  yes.  did i sleep good.  no, i made a video that kept me up late.  the good thing is that my body and mind feels 100%.  my body feels like i can swim to molokai, and my mind is so at peace that nothing will bother me today.  ahhh&#8230;  diving rules!!!<br \/>\n<a href=\"files\/20101121162228.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/20101121162228.jpg\" width=\"650\" height=\"415\" alt=\"\"><\/a><br \/>\nkyle and i were looking for big fish and all of a sudden, birds from all angles started dive bombing around us.  it was a discovery channel moment.  imagine seeing a bird dive deep with their eyes open, eat fish, and swim around before going back to the surface.  kyle and i were tripping&#8230;.<br \/>\n<a href=\"files\/20101121163705.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/20101121163705.jpg\" width=\"650\" height=\"364\" alt=\"\"><\/a><br \/>\nif i didn&#8217;t have my video camera yesterday, i would have kicked myself in the ass!!  nobody would believe me.  i&#8217;m using a fisheye gopro hero HD that is mounted on my head so imagine how close this bird is to my face.  i could have grabbed this little bird.  i&#8217;m still tripping out&#8230;<br \/>\n<a href=\"files\/20101121163904.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/20101121163904.jpg\" width=\"650\" height=\"317\" alt=\"\"><\/a><br \/>\nwe&#8217;re out about 10 miles or 16 kilometers out at sea in the deep blue.  it was us, the sharks, and the birds.  check out the birds trying to eat kyle&#8217;s fish.  haha&#8230;<br \/>\non our second to the last dive, a big tiger shark came by to check us out.  i dive down to try to video it and guess what?
