\nwoke up this morning and made the calls to Kyle and Hayato. “hey guys, let’s go dive and surf!” loaded up the spearguns and surfboards and headed out to sea. it was a beautiful day with beautiful waves!

\nwe were looking for diving spots but the water was a little dirty. so instead, we surfed. either or, we are all happy because we love to do both. look how green and beautiful diamond head is!

\ni ended up taking the boys to my secret spot where i grew up surfing. i paddled out here for my first time when i was 12 years old. and ever since then, nothing has changed. the wave is exactly the same and i know that spot like it’s my backyard. we all caught some unreal waves with only us out. well, then i got a visit from a stranger right after i went back to the boat to eat my sandwich.

\ni was eating lunch watching Kyle and Hayato ripping. then a baby monk seal came up to me and started playing with me. he tried to come up the dive door like he was looking for something. i threw him a piece of bread but i think he was looking for seafood. then he kept on coming back and back like he was calling me. i had 20 minutes of fun just talking to him and enjoying the great nature we have in hawaii.

\nthen we passed by bowls and there were 35 surfers out and the waves weren’t that good. i guess we scored today. dove, saw turtles, a monk seal, 4 whales, and caught some great waves.
\nthe monk seal was hanging out so long that i took some video of him playing around. it was so cool!
