\nmeet damon schmitz and kekoa mau. both from punahou, yes, the same high school as carissa moore, michele wie, and president obama. i was really glad when i found out that we had 2 punahou graduates on board our timor boat because if we got hijacked or pirated, i know president obama would send the whole U.S military to get us out.
\nfor those of you who don’t know. punahou is probably the top high school in the world. yes, at $20,000\/year, it better be. yes it’s private, and yes, guys like me can’t and won’t get accepted.
\nmy high school on the other hand is called kaiser high. it’s a public school and probably ranked pretty low in america. yes it’s free, and yes, they have to accept anybody that wants to go there.
\nbeing that normal people like myself couldn’t attend punahou, i always give my friends that go there a hard time. it was our last night on the boat and i was feeling a little sick. i made my bed at 7:30 pm and was ready to sleep. i hear kekoa calling me “hey kirby, let’s take a shot.” i said “no thanks, i’m going to sleep.” he said “no, no, no, no, no!!! your drinking dude. get your ass up here to the table.” i was thinking to myself “please don’t make me do this….” i said “no thank you again.” kekoa said “no, no, no, no, no, your drinking dude.” i open my sleepy eyes, i got up and walked to the table and took the first shot of the purest form of indonesian alcohol called “sopi.” it was game on. we went shot for shot around the table until people started dropping or disappearing. as soon as i seen kekoa go down, i walked up to him and started taking photos. haha… i can’t show you those photos because i don’t know who checks my blog.
\nbut anyway…. that night was a blank to me but i was one of the last sitting on that table. the next morning, i woke up at 6 am and damon and kekoa were no where to be found. then around 10 am, they crawled out of their bed searching desperately for water. i felt like hiding the water from them. haha.. i took this photo of them with their headaches and told them “hey, i’m from kaiser. we learned how to drink in high school. while you guys were studying hard, we were doing different things. i have 10 more years of drinking experience on you so don’t call me out again.” then i asked them if they wanted to take another shot. haha…
\ndamon and kekoa are really cool guys. we had a great time and i’m sure we’re going to do this all over again sometime soon. well, i hope so….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
