\ni finished the book “Into the Wild” last month. \u00a0 ever since i started reading it, i could feel myself changing a little. \u00a0i was so fascinated on Christopher Johnson McCanddeless life that my thoughts have changed. \u00a0i even went deeper into researching about the movie and found some interesting comments about his life. \u00a0there were a lot of critics out there saying things like “how stupid, uneducated, and unexperienced” John was. \u00a0some people went as far as saying things like “good for him” or “he deserved to die.” \u00a0
\ni was kind of sad on how people can judge other peoples aspirations and dreams. \u00a0 my feeling on John is he was such a brave kid. \u00a0 not too many 22 year old kids these days have the balls to go out and take high risk chances in life. \u00a0that’s what i respect about him so much. \u00a0he had a dream, he set off to achieve it, and he died doing what he loved to do. \u00a0 there is absolutely not a single person in this world that is totally prepared for what nature has to offer them. \u00a0 nature took his life and now he’s in a great place. \u00a0he died happy and made sure people knew that. \u00a0so why feel sad? \u00a0why get mad? \u00a0
\none quote he wrote in his diary really stuck out “HAPPINESS IS ONLY REAL WHEN SHARED.” \u00a0 \u00a0after all the hate he had for his parents and for the world, he finally realized what the truth was. \u00a0 the thing that’s sad is that if he made it out of the alaska wilderness alive, he would have been a really forgiving, loving, and respected young man. \u00a0he learned about how he wanted to live his life from being in the wild. \u00a0the wild taught him what was important and what wasn’t. \u00a0i think that is the coolest thing in the world. \u00a0when you can learn about nature and yourself by being alone, it’s a great thing. \u00a0
\ni’m sure a lot of people read the book and really followed or are following John’s aspirations. \u00a0there are probably hundreds of kids trying to find their right path in life. \u00a0my advise to them would be “Go For It!” \u00a0 i’m truly inspired by the book and movie “Into the Wild.” \u00a0if you haven’t read or watched it yet, please do. \u00a0as for me, i’m already “Into the Wild!” \u00a0i know what happiness is and i know that it’s only real when shared. \u00a0my family and friends taught me that, and now i hope to teach others.” \u00a0\u00a0 live your dreams and never give up! \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
