\nlegend hawaiian surfer Ben Aipa is a world known name. he’s coached world champions throughout the years. to see him out surfing at the age of 74 is amazing! Ben was my shaper back in the 1980’s, and also my surfing coach. i remember meeting him down the beach day after day at kewalos or diamond head. a very strict, talented, and smart man, which equals to a great coach.

\n74 years old and ripping. that’s super cool because i know i’ll be surfing at that age too. thanks Ben for always being so nice to me. see you in the water!

\nwant to thank Shimizu-san for bringing me all these goodies from Yamaguchi, Japan. super stoked to try these kinds of japanese food and sake. that sake is called “Dasai” and i heard it’s really good. i can’t wait to try it! kanpai!
