today was another awesome surfing day in hawaii. the waves were perfect, the weather was perfect, and everything was perfect.

\ni was so stoked to see Tony, Micah, and Isaiah Moniz all in the water today. surfing with my family is cool. and to see them surfing so good makes me happy too. a boat trip to the mentawai is coming up in july and i wish i could join them. bummer.

\ntoday was day 2 with Banba-san. i was so stoked to see him catch so many good waves again today. check out this perfect barreling right! a very kind man from Minami Soma, Fukushima. i’m so happy to be surfing with him here in hawaii. tomorrow, we surf again! more waves, more smiles.

\nthen i seen my hawaiian surfer friends Jason Magallanes and World Champion Sunny Garcia. super stoked to have our little conversation and got this photo with Banda-san. super cool guys that surf super real good!

\nthen i see local bowls surfer Ronnie get a super nice right. gosh, the waves have been super good recently. every surfer on this island is very happy.

\nand yes, a nice healthy pho for lunch from Bac Nam.

\nthen an afternoon surf session with Team Ina. Kumon-san works for HIS and is a very nice guy. a gentleman, very kind, and surfs really good. it’s been 2 years since surfing and i was impressed with his style and commitment. perfect surfing! see you in the water tomorrow.
