\nwe went to try out a new place last night. it’s a japanese yakitori restaurant called Yakitori Glad. every item on the menu cost $3.90, including all drinks. got some good large kirin drafts that go down good with the yakitori.

\na very clean restaurant, very japanese, very good service, and definitely going back again. i love going to good japanese restaurants in hawaii and i’m sure this place will be around for a very long time. i’m so glad. haha.

\ni dawn patrol this morning at bowls. i jump in, paddle to the lineup, and there comes some solid 4′ sets. OMG, this is day 4 of this solid strong swell that it lasting forever. one of the strongest south swells in the past 5 years. it just don’t want to go down. and this morning it was so uncrowded!!! score!

\nthen went for another surf this afternoon and it was still perfect! every single surfer in hawaii is very happy this week. i’m pretty much over satisfied!

\nbetween surfs, i had to pull Mayuki out of the water for a few hours. will get back to that story tomorrow because my eyes are closing already.

\nok, i’m going to japan next week to chase a typhoon and look what just formed? a typhoon with a good track for the philippines, taiwan, and japan. will decide on sunday where to fly to! can’t wait!
\nsun burnt and surfed out. just one amazing week of surfing and i’m sure there will still be some overhead sets tomorrow with uncrowded spots. it’s surfing all day for me as my endless summer continues. goodnight<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
