finally got off the boat. jumped in the 1 hour car ride. jumped on the 1 hour airplane. now waiting for another 1 hour flight from medan to malaysia. half the team going back through taiwan, our team going back through japan.
\ndid a daily journal because of no wifi. tried to post a few photos but don’t know if it even went through or not. it was so good to have no wifi or cell service for the last 11 days.
\nanyway, did a journal and will share the whole trip with you.
\nday 1.
\nfinally get here.
\ntook forever.
\n24 hours from wakayama to the boat.
\nthen another 12 hour ride out to the bankyaks.
\neverybody glad to arrlve after a long journey.
\nteam hawaii took 3 days. we all met in medan before jumping yet on another airplane.
\ngot on the Dream. good and wide boat.
\nbig beds, stable, good chef, and very comfortable.
\nmeet the crew and we set off for a 10 days out in the sea.
\n13 of us as we look forward to surf, dive, and fun.
\nmy 2nd time here so i know there will be more people then the zero i saw last time.
\nwe shall see.

\nwe surfed a lot of sessions all to ourselves. surfing from pitch dark in the morning to pitch dark in the evenings were the highlight of my surf sessions. just so beautiful!!!

\nmostly surfed but managed to take some photos at the same time. here is Kimura-san at Cobra’s. a perfect left we had for 2 days all alone. left barrels, and tons of shells on the beach. such an amazing place! this photo is one of my favorite because you can see the Treasure Island jungle right behind this amazing sunrise bottom turn. good job Kimura-san!

\nthis is another one of my best shots. we surfed this perfect right hander all to ourselves pretty much all day long. this was the late evening session as i seen Matsu catch the jewel of the day. i was so happy to see my great long time friend catch this amazing wave. good job Matsu! have many many more photos coming so stay tuned!

\nand the diving? omg! just amazing. i lost count of how many fish i speared this trip. fresh sashimi and fresh poke every single night. look deep and straight at the fish i’m ready to spear for dinner. fresh Uku or Snapper!

\ni went there to get barreled. that’s all i had on my mind. and now that i had enough, i can say that i am very satisfied. this trip was totally amazing. it was sad that it had to end, but i’m glad it ended great and nobody got hurt.
\ngetting on the flight to malaysia. can’t wait to get back to hawaii and return to my normal lifestyle. i’m just not looking forward to spending too much time on the computer!!! help!!! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
