good morning. after experiencing the things this past week, i’m
\ntotally at ease with my life. from swimming with hungry sharks in
\npalau 3 weeks ago, to dodging earthquakes in japan this week, i don’t
\nknow which one is worst. i just know that in each situation, you have
\nto be calm. the first earthquake in japan on march 11th lasted for
\nover 4 minutes. the other night, the earthquake wasn’t long, but many
\nsay it was stronger. and last night, it was only a minute and not
\nscary at all. even at 7M, what can you do? run? hide? scream? no,
\nno, no. as soon as the earthquake hit, i turned on my phone and took
\nvideo. it’s becoming to be a habit.
\nwell, they extended the danger zone to a radius of 30 kilometers.
\nminami soma is now ordered to evacuate. that’s hard to swallow when i
\nwas just there a few days ago. even though it was a ghost town, there
\nare many people hiding in their houses, and i know they aren’t going
\nto leave.
\nin japan, the cellular phone systems are programed to ring when there
\nis an earthquake coming. acco and naohiro’s phones were beeping loud
\na few seconds before the earthquake hit last night. mine? nothing.
\nno alert, no nothing. i still don’t understand why? is it because
\ni’m a foreigner?
\nwell, going to sleep now, then should be back to tokyo tomorrow.
\ngoing to regroup my thoughts, and figure out a plan for stage 2 of “WE
\nARE ONE” mission in tohoku. hopefully i can be back up here in a few
\ndays. i’m looking for volunteers again and this time and i want to be
\nhonest with you. if your prepared to risk your life, come. if not,
\ndon’t come. earthquakes, tsumami’s, and radiation don’t scare me
\nanymore. what scares me is the people that are willing to stay in
\nthese so called radiation danger zones and risk their lives. there
\nare innocent kids everywhere we go. and the damage is to such an
\nextent that makes me wonder if japan will ever be the same. and for
\nthe billions of dollars being raised for japan from these so called
\nnon-profit organizations, i have one question??? where the heck are
\nyou guys??? i don’t understand why some cities look the same as it
\ndid one month ago. why is that?????
