\nomg, today was awesome. always wanted to take my grand nephew surfing but was waiting for the right day. today was it! he’s only 1 year old, just started walking, and still can’t talk. but he knows everything i say. so when i went to his house and asked him to go surfing, he dropped everything and came right to me. we loaded up the truck and headed down to the beach on this beautiful day.

\nat first, no kid feels comfortable in the ocean. of course he was scared. of course he didn’t really want to surf. so i had to take it really slow. he sat on the board thinking “why is my uncle doing this to me????”

\ni finally get him out without crying. a nice little wave comes, we ride it, and he was freaking out. not scared, but freaking on what the heck was going on. haha.

\nthen i raised him over my head so he can get a better view of this beautiful island.

\nwe came in, played in the sand, and that was it. after i brought him home, i showed him the video and he was watching it laughing and clapping. i asked him “do you want to go surf again?” he ran to the door and said “uuurrrfff, uuurrff.”
\ni hope to take him again and again. till this day, he’s the youngest i’ve taken surfing. how did i do it? i told him mom, “i’m going to take him in the hilton hawaiian lagoon to play.” haha.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
