Tajima-san surfed really well.  it was super crowded, but super uncrowded.  lots of surfers in the water, but nobody near us.  score again!  good time Tajima-san!  thank you and see you again!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6665.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6665-640x480.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6665\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-56017\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nafter surfing a long session, we headed to hawaiian style ramen, Pho.  like usual, very very good.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6666.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6666-640x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6666\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-56018\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nanother beautiful hawaiian day.  diamond head with some overhead sets and not too crowded.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6672.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6672-640x480.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6672\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-56020\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nthen went to my sisters house to celebrate Joshua&#8217;s big WQS victory!  another family gathering and another day to be thankful to have such a great family and friends.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6669.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6669-640x480.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6669\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-56022\" \/><\/a><br \/>\npoke, poke, and poke.  hawaiian style.  oh so good!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6676.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6676-640x480.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6676\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-56021\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nsurfers get hungry after a long day at the beach.  good surf and good food equals good day.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6670.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6670-640x480.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6670\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-56019\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nthe Moniz house.  always welcomed here.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6687.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_6687-640x480.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6687\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-56023\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nso dam proud of this kid Joshua Moniz.  he flew all the way to the bahamas, surfed his heart out, beat all the competition from all around the world, and came back home like it was just another day on the job.  very humble, very respectable, and a very big heart.  good job in representing hawaii Joshua!  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>i had such a great time surfing with Tajima-san this morning. a super stoked surfer from tokushima who loves to surf. hasn&#8217;t been to hawaii in 35 years so it must have been a new experience.
