\nonce again, the Moniz boys taking over the american surf industry by a storm. Joshua was the NSSA champion last year, and now he gets the cover shot for this years program. amazing photo!

\nthen Seth Moniz was the number 1 contender coming into this contest. and of course, he didn’t let anybody down and now is the champion of 2015. last year Josh, this year Seth. Moniz domination continues!

\ni was reading the boys interviews. one of the questions was: What is the weirdest thing you’ve even eaten? Seth’s answer was: Probably whale meat. I was in Japan and eating everything on the dinner table. It just looked like a normal piece of steak. I’m sorry.
\nhaha! that is so funny because i remember it so clearly. when i took care of Seth on his first trip to japan, i think he was only 10 years old or so. i told him “hey Seth, when you travel, eat everything that is presented to you. you don’t have to like it, just try it. that’s the way to travel to understand other cultures. Seth ate whale and other bizarre things on that trip. and now he knows the culture of japan as a lot of people still eat whale till this day. Seth, there is no need to say sorry. there is absolutely nothing wrong with what you did. explore, experience, and enjoy!
