\ngot up super early this morning in freezing cold LA. loaded up our gear, and headed to the airport. traveling with all this gear is pretty tough. we each have 2 checked in baggage at 50lbs. each. plus our heavy 2 carry ons. lugging it around airport to airport to hotel to hotel and all over the place is the price you pay for the reward you will receive. was it all worth it? heck yeah!

\narriving back in blue hawaii. omg, so amazing to be greeted by the perfect weather. i love it!

\ncame home just in time to watch Seth’s heat. i was so nervous!!! so was his coach Raynos, and so were my sister and Tony. they all looked so stressed out. luckily Seth made it so he will be advancing to the round of 64. that’s the 3rd round for this giant killer.

\nthen Seth came out of the water and got mobbed by girls wanting to get a photo with him. i was laughing so hard! haha. the kids a superstar!

\nJapan’s Hiroto Ohara surfed super good in his heat. advanced tomorrow to the 3rd round too.

\nso here it is. after they finish up round 2 in the morning, the boys will surf in the afternoon. Seth goes up against Jordy Smith, and Hiroto goes up against John John Florence in round 3. going to be two awesome heats i won’t miss.

\nrepacked the ahi and getting ready to make a lot of poke. yeah!!!
