Kameyama-san surfed super good!  then since we had the whole day, we decided to go circle the island.  first it was lunch at Down to Earth, then headed for a snow puff desert at waialua.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3144.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3144.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3144\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62412\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nthen went to check out haleiwa.  omg, the waves were so good!  some 6&#8242; sets and perfect.  only a few guys out too.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3153.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3153.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3153\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62413\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nthis tourist from chicago flew his drone over the big surf.  he was freaking out at the footage.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3150.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3150.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3150\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62414\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nhaleiwa doesn&#8217;t get much better than this.  nice 4-6&#8242;, super long, and only 6 surfers out.  lucky timing.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3163.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3163.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3163\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62416\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nand more lucky timing.  private beach with turtles basking in the sun.  on the drive back, i found out Kameyama-san is a grandmother!  omg!  i though she was way younger than me!!!  and to top it off, she&#8217;s here to run the marathon!  amazing!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3166.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3166.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3166\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62417\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nthen went to watch the pipeline masters.  omg, off the wall was crazy going off!  one gem per hour but if you&#8217;re on it, it could be the wave of your life.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3167.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_3167.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3167\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62418\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nso stoked to see how far surfing has come.  people from all over the world coming to this special beach called pipeline.  then we went to Romy&#8217;s for some shrimp, then drove around the island coming back to town.  what a lovely day with a lovely person!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_6259.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_6259.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6259\" width=\"1774\" height=\"1774\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62409\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nand want to congratulate Toda-san for taking this amazing photo of Mt.
