wow! solid south swell and perfect conditions! surfed bowls this morning and a secret spot this evening. i was so happy to surf a short board as it’s been a long time. feel like a kid again! going early tomorrow morning and late evening. can’t wait!

\ni was walking on the street in waikiki yesterday and found a $5 bill on the ground. there were so many people walking right on by but didn’t even notice it. i picked it up and thought somebody was playing a joke on me. so i just smiled, took it, and walked away. score!

\nmy deck is finally fully done. the total cost for materials was around $90. i’m not sure how much money i ended up saving by doing it by myself, but it feels super good coming home now. i don’t have to worry about falling through it anymore. haha.

\ni even made a door on the side to store things under the house. pretty solid!

\nnow i’m looking around the house for another project. i just love to fix things up. someday i hope to build my own house. i can’t wait! but first, i need to save $1M to buy some land. haha.
