{"id":64246,"date":"2016-02-09T10:18:06","date_gmt":"2016-02-09T01:18:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=64246"},"modified":"2016-02-09T10:18:06","modified_gmt":"2016-02-09T01:18:06","slug":"sisters-who-surf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=64246","title":{"rendered":"Sisters who Surf!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>look good at all these photos of ala moana yesterday.  you won&#8217;t find anybody around us.  it was super bowl sunday in hawaii and the best time ever to surf.  the whole island is watching tv and we are surfing the empty ocean.  i do this every single year and will continue to do it forever!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Screen-Shot-2016-02-08-at-1.33.07-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-02-08 at 1.33.07 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"362\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64247\" \/><br \/>\njust love teaching the youth how to surf.  it was these 2 sisters first experience and i was stoked to be the one to teach them.  meet they young and energetic Yumi-chan and Ayu-chan.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Screen-Shot-2016-02-08-at-1.30.30-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-02-08 at 1.30.30 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64248\" \/><br \/>\nas soon as they got on the surfboard paddling out, they said &#8220;tanoshi,&#8221; which means &#8220;fun!&#8221;  so happy to see the bright smiles.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Screen-Shot-2016-02-08-at-1.30.48-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-02-08 at 1.30.48 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"361\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64249\" \/><br \/>\nYumi-chan on her very first wave of her life!  she was so stoked!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Screen-Shot-2016-02-08-at-1.30.58-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-02-08 at 1.30.58 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"359\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64251\" \/><br \/>\nthen Ayu-chan on her first wave ever.  you should have seen these 2 girls smiles paddling back out.  it was amazing!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Screen-Shot-2016-02-08-at-1.34.49-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-02-08 at 1.34.49 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"367\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64254\" \/><br \/>\nhalf way through the session, Yumi-chan started to surf on her own.  yeah, surfing on your own during your first ever session is something amazing.  she must have caught over 25 waves.  pure energy and excitement.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Screen-Shot-2016-02-08-at-1.34.20-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-02-08 at 1.34.20 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"358\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64253\" \/><br \/>\nAyu-chan kept on going and going too.  i was amazed on their energy and power.  it&#8217;s good to be young and full of energy.  so stoked for these girls and i&#8217;m sure they will include surfing in their lives forever.  good job girls!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_5849.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5849\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64250\" \/><br \/>\nthen came home and at the snacks they gave me.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/IMG_5850.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5850\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"align none size-full wp-image-64252\" \/><br \/>\nthank you Yumi-chan and Ayu-chan for the snacks and wonderful super bowl afternoon of surfing.  keep on surfing and keep on looking forward!
