{"id":66569,"date":"2016-12-11T05:06:58","date_gmt":"2016-12-10T20:06:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=66569"},"modified":"2016-12-11T05:06:58","modified_gmt":"2016-12-10T20:06:58","slug":"nihiwatu-getting-there-and-getting-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=66569","title":{"rendered":"Surf Trip Planning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>i&#8217;ve been spending the past 2 days trying to put together a trip.  have so many people asking me to take them somewhere.  so yeah, i decided to put together a trip for next year.  maybe 2 trips so every body can be happy!  one boat trip, and one land trip.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_8653.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_8653\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-66571\" \/><\/p>\n<p>indonesia is probably the best place for waves, diving, and culture.  the only bummer thing is it takes 2 long days from hawaii to get there.  but once you arrive, all the hassles are well worth it.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_8657.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_8657\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-66572\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and when food and drinks are included, why not eat and drink everything?  this is the start of my 5 meal breakfast course at Nihiwatu Resort.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_8659.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_8659\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-66570\" \/><\/p>\n<p>getting to Nihiwatu was long and tiring.  3 airplane rides, 2 nights of layovers, and another long drive.  takes long but when you have good company, it&#8217;s pretty dam fun.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_8660.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_8660\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-66573\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and you will see things you will never see in guidebooks.  this is the real way of traveling.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_8662.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_8662\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-66575\" \/><\/p>\n<p>kids walking, bikes riding by, and horses running wild?
