{"id":68628,"date":"2016-06-25T05:45:30","date_gmt":"2016-06-24T20:45:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=68628"},"modified":"2016-06-25T05:45:30","modified_gmt":"2016-06-24T20:45:30","slug":"free-surf-and-free-dive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=68628","title":{"rendered":"Free Surf and Free Dive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>somebody asked me &#8220;why do you do so many blogs?&#8221;  my answer was &#8220;because so many things happen in my life.  each and everyday is full of adventure.  if i don&#8217;t post the photos, it will all be lost.  and because i&#8217;m getting older, i&#8217;m forgetting more and more.  so this is a way for me to remember my amazing moments each and every day.&#8221;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Screen-Shot-2016-06-24-at-1.13.45-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-06-24 at 1.13.45 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"364\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68629\" \/><br \/>\nwhy did i surf at Three&#8217;s?  well, this swell was at a weird angle.  bowls wasn&#8217;t that good, neither was big rights.  Three&#8217;s on the other hand, loves this swell direction.  a totally different crowd, a totally different vibe.  it&#8217;s like a mix of ala moana and waikiki.  surfing a different wave with different people made me feel like i was on a surf trip.  and it was a great surf trip.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Screen-Shot-2016-06-24-at-1.20.24-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-06-24 at 1.20.24 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"366\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68630\" \/><br \/>\nsome of the waves were head high barreling.  and it was those waves i was waiting for.  my friend Bruce gave me 2 sets that made my summer.  imagine getting barreled and doing 5 off the lips after.  i don&#8217;t have to imagine anymore.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Screen-Shot-2016-06-24-at-1.14.08-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-06-24 at 1.14.08 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"363\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68636\" \/><br \/>\nand just watching the old schoolers loving life to the fullest.  you can&#8217;t ask for a more perfect life than this.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Screen-Shot-2016-06-24-at-1.18.54-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-06-24 at 1.18.54 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68634\" \/><br \/>\nand i love watching the kids enjoying nature, rather than their iPhones.  this is an application you won&#8217;t find at the apple store.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Screen-Shot-2016-06-24-at-1.11.28-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-06-24 at 1.11.28 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"363\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68633\" \/><br \/>\ni let the kids run wild in the sea.  kind of let them learn and figure things out on their own.  of course i&#8217;m keeping an eye on them, but i&#8217;m also keeping my other eye on food.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Screen-Shot-2016-06-24-at-1.11.42-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-06-24 at 1.11.42 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68635\" \/><br \/>\ni&#8217;ve been free diving a lot without weights or a wetsuit these days.  it just feels more free than it use to.  and when i&#8217;m laying on the ocean floor, i feel like i&#8217;m one of the wildlife.  i can&#8217;t describe how good it feels.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Screen-Shot-2016-06-24-at-1.11.12-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-06-24 at 1.11.12 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"359\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-68632\" \/><br \/>\ncoming up for a breath.  wish i didn&#8217;t have to.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Screen-Shot-2016-06-24-at-1.17.56-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-06-24 at 1.17.56 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" class=\"align none size-full wp-image-68631\" \/><br \/>\ncoming up with a fish.  why not.<br \/>\nso yes, i surf, dive, shoot, and hunt.  small waves, big waves, or no waves, i&#8217;m always a happy guy.  if you can connect with nature, you can feel things you never felt before.  and i guarantee you will fall in love with it.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>somebody asked me &#8220;why do you do so many blogs?&#8221;
