Mizuno-san can&#8217;t hear so it the first time i taught someone how to surf by feel.  yes, how to feel the ocean!  and Mizuno-san felt it pretty good.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Screen-Shot-2016-09-21-at-2.16.01-PM.jpg\" alt=\"screen-shot-2016-09-21-at-2-16-01-pm\" width=\"640\" height=\"370\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-71560\" \/><br \/>\nimagine not being able to hear and surf for the very first time in your life?  she asked me &#8220;how do i know when to stand up?&#8221;  i said &#8220;you will feel it.  and when you feel it, that&#8217;s when you stand up!&#8221;  and that&#8217;s just what she did, and did it perfectly.  i&#8217;m very inspired by the courage of Mizuno-san.  an amazing person, and a newborn surfer!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Screen-Shot-2016-09-21-at-2.16.51-PM.jpg\" alt=\"screen-shot-2016-09-21-at-2-16-51-pm\" width=\"640\" height=\"435\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-71568\" \/><br \/>\nafter this, we had a wonderful conversation about surfing and traveling.
