Truck Stop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>after we checked out of sex resort, we packed up the boards and headed back.  heard earlier the waves were flat so we pretty much gave up on surfing for the day.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_6064.jpg\" alt=\"img_6064\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72687\" \/><br \/>\nthen as we were driving, we seen this perfect little wave breaking right off the road.  so we slam on the breaks and stop.  nobody out!!!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_6075.jpg\" alt=\"img_6075\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72679\" \/><br \/>\nwatched a little more and it was getting bigger right in front of our eyes.  we take the boards off the roof, wax up, and head out.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_6107.jpg\" alt=\"img_6107\" width=\"1108\" height=\"1478\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72675\" \/><br \/>\nkind of crazy how you have to get out at some places.  our first time surfing it so you have to use your experience when it comes to this.  i&#8217;m keeping one eye on the ocean, and the other on Kimura-san.  we get out safely.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_6105.jpg\" alt=\"img_6105\" width=\"1280\" height=\"1280\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72685\" \/><br \/>\nand we took turns surfing wave after wave.  and it kept on getting bigger and bigger.  some head high sets with totally perfect conditions.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_6106.jpg\" alt=\"img_6106\" width=\"1280\" height=\"1280\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72678\" \/><br \/>\nKimura-san is going to Mentawai in a few days so here he is warming up.  the two of us having our own private mentawai moment.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" \/>\nsurfed till sunset.  really didn&#8217;t want to come in but we had a long drive ahead of us.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_6104.jpg\" alt=\"img_6104\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72683\" \/><br \/>\nYasin strapped the board up again and we were on our way.  i&#8217;d say we had a bonus surf session.  totally unexpected and totally scored.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_6108.jpg\" alt=\"img_6108\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72672\" \/><br \/>\nfinally making it back to the city for our fresh crab dinner.  i was looking forward to this.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_6110.jpg\" alt=\"img_6110\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72677\" \/><br \/>\nwe picked the biggest ones.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_6113.jpg\" alt=\"img_6113\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72680\" \/><br \/>\nback in hawaii, we call these samoan crabs.  so sweet and juicy!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_6114.jpg\" alt=\"img_6114\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72681\" \/><br \/>\ni can&#8217;t explain to you how good it was.  once we started eating, everybody stopped talking.  it was eating in silence.  all you could see is happiness!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" wp-image-72674\" \/><br \/>\nthen came back to our hotel.  just love walking in the door to a setup like this.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" love you?  didn&#8217;t they know i was alone?  seeing this could make a person get pretty lonely.  haha.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
