yesterday, i was looking through some of my old photos and came across this one. my favorite sushi restaurant in the world. my mouth started watering and was craving some good sushi. well, i’m not in tokyo so i ask a friend where’s a good restaurant in hawaii. she told me “Sushi ii.”

i make last minute reservations and decided to treat myself to an awesome dinner. started off with some orion beer! made me remember okinawa.

so i order the sushi special that cost $42. five years ago, i would have been totally satisfied. but after going to japan so often eating the best sushi in the world, i realized my tastebuds have changed. from now on, i’d rather wait to go to japan. i told my friend i wasn’t satisfied. guess what she told me? “YOU’RE SPOILED!”

i got a text from my sister saying that Kelia’s surfing now. so i started watching it live! she ended up winning but not after i was yelling in the quiet restaurant. haha.

leaving my house every morning before the sun rises. i love it!

went to Makapuu with Saori-san and watched the daily hawaiian lifestyle. this man flying his toy airplane off the cliff.

and these daredevils jumping off the cliff with a sheet of cloth.

i think these guys are crazy! i would never do that!

want to congratulate Mari-chan for finding and catching her first tako! i’m so stoked my friends are getting into the most healthy sport in the world! good job Mari-chan! hope to dive with you soon!

Yuki-san sent me these photos last night before i went to sleep. the Japanese Jaws!!! a great white shark caught in japan! omg, i had major nightmares!!!
