yesterday was a very interesting day. didn’t know what the weather was going to do so went to look for myself at diamond head. and when i seen the perfect conditions, i thought “i belong in the ocean’s garden.”

then i get these photos from Nao-san. she went to eat at Niwa and yes, i was pretty dam jealous. there is no place in hawaii i can get good food like this.

look at this beauty! abalone and sashimi. omg!

this is my favorite. i would order this for my first choice.

and the perfect ending to a perfect meal. i’m totally craving Niwa!

after looking at those photos and getting hungry, i decided to go to the oceans garden. as i drove out past ala moana, i couldn’t believe how clean the water was. i could see the bottom at 80′. that is so rare!

i was craving fish so i went to look at a spot i haven’t been in a while. it was 60′ deep but i could see the fish from the top. a couple dives and a couple kumu’s! pretty easy!
