{"id":76014,"date":"2017-02-07T14:59:45","date_gmt":"2017-02-07T05:59:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=76014"},"modified":"2017-02-07T14:59:45","modified_gmt":"2017-02-07T05:59:45","slug":"98-year-samurai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=76014","title":{"rendered":"The 98 Year Samurai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_9722-e1486442745542.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9722\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76010\" \/><\/p>\n<p>check out this photo i saw today of my grandpa and grandma.   my grandpa was all about family, loyalty, and respect.  he was born in america, but a true japanese samurai by heart.  and my grandma put my grandpa first and respected him and his decisions to the fullest.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_9726.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9726\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76004\" \/><\/p>\n<p>driving over to the east side, the place where my grandpa and grandma wanted to be together till eternity.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_9728.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9728\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76012\" \/><\/p>\n<p>heavy rain but it&#8217;s ok.  to me, it&#8217;s just tears from heaven.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_9727.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9727\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76007\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and had some crazy accidents today too.  this was a 4 car accident in the lifelike tunnel.  thank goodness we didn&#8217;t leave 5 minutes earlier or it could have been us.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_9796.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9796\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76008\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and another one in aina hina.  it&#8217;s crazy how people in hawaii can&#8217;t drive when it&#8217;s raining.  i guess cause we&#8217;re not use to rain.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_9720.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9720\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76006\" \/><\/p>\n<p>finally, my grandpa and grandma can be together forever!  this is a very sad, but yet happy day of my life.  ever since my grandma passed away 8 years ago, my grandpa wanted to go too.  every time i would go and see him, he would point up to heaven and say &#8220;i like go already.  enough already.  i like be with grandma.&#8221;   well, my grandpa&#8217;s wish finally came true.  cheers to the both of you!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_9719.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9719\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76005\" \/><\/p>\n<p>i&#8217;ve never in my whole life met such a loving couple.  a story of first love as teenagers, to last love as great grandparents.  there was nothing that could break this bond of love, loyalty, and family.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_9724.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9724\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"align none size-full wp-image-76009\" \/><\/p>\n<p>this is how i remember my grandpa.  a true samurai that loved his family, and loved his life.  just by growing up and having him in my life, i learned many wonderful things.  mostly, i learned how to live a happy life!
