{"id":76710,"date":"2017-03-03T15:15:20","date_gmt":"2017-03-03T06:15:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=76710"},"modified":"2017-03-03T15:15:20","modified_gmt":"2017-03-03T06:15:20","slug":"lucky-suicides","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=76710","title":{"rendered":"Lucky Suicides"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>went to check everywhere in town this morning and the waves were terrible!  too stormy and dirty water.  so Rikita-san wanted to gamble and head to the east side.  i&#8217;m not a gambler, but i knew the odds were in our favor!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Screen-Shot-2017-03-03-at-12.52.07-PM.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2017-03-03 at 12.52.07 PM\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76717\" \/><\/p>\n<p>we arrived at one of the most beautiful surf points in the world.  nobody was out as perfect waves kept peeling across.  the only thing is getting out.  you have to time it perfectly or you will end up crashing your board or body on the rocks.  or worst, both.  really???&#8221;  he couldn&#8217;t believe it.  haha.   thank you Rikita-san for the wonderful week of surfing and hanging out.  you did great today.  i have so much confidence in you so just remember to &#8220;Keep Calm and Go Naminori.&#8221;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_0455.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0455\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-76714\" \/><\/p>\n<p>ate a pastrami sandwich on the way back to town.  smiling and laughing all the way.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_0456.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0456\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"align none size-full wp-image-76712\" \/><\/p>\n<p>then went to pick up Kunitake-san for day 2.  we checked Diamond Head and it must have cleaned up 10 minutes before we arrived because there were only 6 surfers out???
