\"\"today was an amazing day with Mama and Papa Iwata-san! \u00a0we surf every year and i really missed both of them! \u00a0 so i was really looking forward to today.<\/p>\n

\"\"Mama on the first wave. \u00a0i can’t believe how sharp this woman is! \u00a0super athletic, energetic, and always smiling.<\/p>\n

\"\"so stoked Mama!<\/p>\n

\"\"then Papa on his first wave of the day. \u00a0he must have been practicing because the stood up on his first wave and rode it perfectly! \u00a0the best wave he caught every since i started teaching him.<\/p>\n

\"\"super happy Papa!<\/p>\n

\"\"we ended up surfing for 2.5 hours. \u00a0a long time considering we usually surf for less than 1 hour. \u00a0it was actually hard to go in because the waves were so perfect and so were the rides.<\/p>\n

\"\"the coolest Mama and Papa on earth! \u00a0i feel like they’re my own parents!<\/p>\n

\"\"Mama fell off on one of her waves and the board hit her in the face. \u00a0she paddled out and i asked if she was ok. \u00a0she said “i gave birth to 3 kids, of course i’m ok!” \u00a0haha. \u00a0i thought that was amazing.<\/p>\n

\"\"Papa keeping up with energetic Mama. \u00a0we had such a great time!<\/p>\n

\"\"once a year we surf together for the past few years. \u00a0as we are all getting a little older each year, we are all getting more energetic and much more happy. \u00a0that tells you a lot how surfing can improve your body, mind, and soul.<\/p>\n

\"\"after our surf, we had a full day of exploring Hawaii! \u00a0the second half of the story coming tomorrow. \u00a0 i better get to sleep because i’m pretty sleepy. \u00a0 have \u00a0wonderful evening!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
