wow, i can’t believe how the heck my body can handle spending every single day in the ocean. i was there from sunrise to sunset spending 6 hours on the surfboard. here’s how it started…

took my friend for some really good waves and laughs early this morning. always smiling and always so happy!
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

then took Yamane-san and Yusei-kun out for their Hawaiian adventure.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Yamane-san was so energetic! he kept on catching so many waves on his own.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

smiling all the way out.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Yusei-kun enjoying the ride too.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

at age 13, this is the tallest kid i’ve ever met. he’s even taller than me!
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Yamane-san had the most energy by far today. he wanted more and more and more. haha.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

thank you boys for the amazing surf session!
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

had the best hulihuli chicken plate in town today. tried it for the first time and now i don’t have to drive to the North shore to eat it anymore. just a 10 min drive from my house.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

then picked up Iwakawa-san for day 2 Boot Camp. it was amazing! that was the end to my 6 hours of ocean time today. a girl that seen me early this morning said “omg, you’re still out from this morning?” i said “yeah, and i ain’t going in until the sun sets.”

drove into the lobby at Park Lane today. newly built above Ala Moana shopping center. some condos in here go for $8M. i felt so out of place. haha. then when i drove back home tonight, i realized how much i love the mountains. after spending so much time in the ocean all day, it’s good to come home to the sound of the wind blowing the trees, the birds chirping, the stream flowing, and the super greenery everywhere. i love my home! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
