in Sendai on mission 4, the warm loving Hiratsuka family<br \/>\ntook us in for a night.  we got there at 10 pm and Mrs. Hiratsuka was<br \/>\nwaiting up for us with a freshly baked homemade cheesecake.  it didn&#8217;t<br \/>\ntake long for toda-san to eat half of it.  haha.  it was the best<br \/>\ncheesecake we had and our team was glad to be sleeping in a warm futon<br \/>\nand be able to take a shower.  the next morning, she prepared breakfast<br \/>\nfor us.  that gave us the power to move on with our mission.<br \/>\nMr and Mrs Hiratsuka,<br \/>\nI want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness.<br \/>\nYou didn&#8217;t have to do what you did for our team but did anyway.<br \/>\nWe were nourished by your food, cleansed by your fudo, and energized by<br \/>\nyour kindness.<br \/>\nYour house is amazing!<br \/>\nTraditional style with old clocks and tansu made me remember my<br \/>\nGrandparents.<br \/>\nI felt like home and once again, thank you from myself, and the rest of<br \/>\nour team.<br \/>\nWe will never forget you and hope to see you again.<br \/>\nAloha,<br \/>\nKirby<\/p>\n<div class=\"photo-end\">
