Tony Moniz telling the most funny stories of his life.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Screen-Shot-2018-04-03-at-2.38.01-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"715\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89282\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and it kept on going and going.  we were all just laughing at everything.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_3257.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89275\" \/><\/p>\n<p>then once we approached the beautiful island of Molokai, we all got exited.  it was Kelia&#8217;s first time to Molokai.  the birthplace of her ancestors.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_3279.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89278\" \/><\/p>\n<p>the landscapes are breathtaking.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_3280.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89276\" \/><\/p>\n<p>how did all these trees grow on this rock?  amazing!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_3249.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"481\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89272\" \/><\/p>\n<p>so happy to spend this wonderful time with the kids.  i really missed moments like this.  it&#8217;s totally priceless&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_3283.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89271\" \/><\/p>\n<p>power spot.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_3254.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89274\" \/><\/p>\n<p>on the way there, i found out it was all the kids and even Tony&#8217;s first time to the back side of the island.  so it was even more special for me.  kind of bummed that Micah and Seth couldn&#8217;t make it, but next time for sure.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_3345.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89279\" \/><\/p>\n<p>we pull up to Tony&#8217;s house and was greeted by cousin Dino.  one of the coolest Hawaiians in the world.  he&#8217;s always taking care and watching out for the family with open arms.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_3363.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89277\" \/><\/p>\n<p>we unpacked, got ready, and you wouldn&#8217;t believe the kind of waves we got to surf.  and surfing with my nephews and niece was like a dream for me.  sorry no photos of our private surf sessions.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_3271.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89273\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tony has taught his kids so much about surfing, life, respect, and most important, family.  thousands more photos coming but for now, i must go to sleep.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Screen-Shot-2018-04-03-at-2.02.53-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1028\" height=\"931\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89283\" \/><\/p>\n<p>it was a very long day as we came home straight through this huge storm.  it has to be the most scariest channel crossings for me.  i want to thank my crew for not panicking, and want to thank Mayuki for getting us home safely.  good night everyone.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>i&#8217;m back home and now can tell you the many stories from our little family trip. i pulled up 2 days ago at the yacht club at 4:30am and couldn&#8217;t believe the Moniz&#8217;s were there??? wow, before me! and i couldn&#8217;t believe how much stuff they brought!!! seven people and a thousand pounds of luggage?
