Fuji, nothing was planned.  i was eyeing out that mountain for years and when i finally had a day break between chasing typhoons and work in japan, i charged.  it was much farther than i expected, it was much colder than i expected, and it was much more challenging than i expected.  i almost gave up 2 times because i was freezing cold and my throbbing headache wouldn&#8217;t go away.  in the back of my mind, i didn&#8217;t know when my next chance will be so i just kept on climbing.  once i got to the top, i felt like i was on top of the world.  i&#8217;ll never forget that day.  as i was going down the mountain, i was telling myself &#8220;no way i&#8217;m doing this again!&#8221;  well, my mind has changed since.  if i&#8217;m passing by Mt.
