{"id":90627,"date":"2018-05-20T05:10:12","date_gmt":"2018-05-19T20:10:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=90627"},"modified":"2018-05-20T05:10:12","modified_gmt":"2018-05-19T20:10:12","slug":"real-dreams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=90627","title":{"rendered":"Real Dreams"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4680.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-90630\" \/><\/p>\n<p>i get asked a lot, &#8220;how do you know about all those places in Japan?&#8221;  one answer is &#8220;friends.&#8221;  and another answer is &#8220;exploring.&#8221;  in this case, my friend Matsu told me about this amazing restaurant i always wanted to eat at.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4677.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-90631\" \/><\/p>\n<p>this is super Japanese and you could tell the chefs prepared the meals with so much passion.  it was like art!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4678.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-90632\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and the counter is the only place i want to sit.  this is where i watch and learn.  one day my kitchen will look like this.  and i&#8217;ll invite you all over for dinner and drinks&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4685.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-90633\" \/><\/p>\n<p>exploring some new and cool Jazz bars on this past trip too.  feels so soothing&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4738.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-90634\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and i&#8217;ll never forget this beautiful park.  i could have sat there all day watching all the girls in beautiful kimonos walk on by.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4763.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-90629\" \/><\/p>\n<p>another night, another Jazz bar&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_4700-e1526712956782.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-90628\" \/><\/p>\n<p>another day, another classic street.  i use to watch old Samurai movies and this is the kind of places they filmed it.  and i almost could feel like a Ninja would jump out at any time.  it was so real.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_6493.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-90636\" \/><\/p>\n<p>also been getting asked how Sumatra was.  i have 2 answers to that question.  good waves, but freaking far!
