2 days ago, i tell Asayama-san “pack everything for an overnighter. i have no idea where we’ll go, or if we even can go.” everything depends on the weather and he knows that pretty well. so 7am, he was ready for anything.

it was rough, it was dangerous, and it wasn’t the best day to cross one of the most dangerous channels in the world. high risk equals high reward. so we went anyway…

seen dolphins and huge waves. it was the first time Mayuki went totally vertical in the air. it was crazy! it took us 3 hours and there were absolutely no other boats in the ocean.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

once we arrived, we couldn’t wait to get wet after that long bumpy ride. Asayama-san was free diving so good! super calm and super deep.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

we had a great time looking for dinner.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

had enough fish so we continued on to our anchorage. look at my happy feet! haha.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

it was such a beautiful evening!
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

then it was time for the sunset, beer, and preparation for dinner. the magical golden sky…
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

beers go down so smoothly when you have absolutely no stress in your life. no wifi and no worries. that’s how i’m going to live my life after retirement…
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

the best nabe prepared by Iron Chef Maki-san. omg, it was delicious!
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

sleeping under the stars. millions of stars twinkling all night long. it was amazing…
