Sakamoto-san is a very energetic young woman that is full of energy.  she&#8217;s not afraid of anything so it was pretty fun watching her so excited by the ocean swells.  even paddling out was fun for her.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Screen-Shot-2018-07-02-at-7.36.29-AM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"718\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-91970\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and once she stood up, it was so natural.  riding the longest waves all morning long.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Screen-Shot-2018-07-02-at-7.37.53-AM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"729\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-91968\" \/><\/p>\n<p>hooked on surfing for sure.  she was already asking me where she can surf in Japan.  haha<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Screen-Shot-2018-07-02-at-7.38.16-AM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"721\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-91971\" \/><\/p>\n<p>after a few waves in the inside, i asked Sakamoto-san if she wanted to try to ride a big set on the outside.  of course, she said &#8220;yes!&#8221;  so we went to the outside and rode all big sets the rest of the morning.  look at her go!  i can&#8217;t believe it&#8217;s her very first time surfing!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Screen-Shot-2018-07-02-at-7.39.38-AM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"814\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-91973\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and yes, a smile like this comes after a wonderful ride.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6253.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"481\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-91967\" \/><\/p>\n<p>hot pho for lunch.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Screen-Shot-2018-07-02-at-7.42.25-AM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"718\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-91979\" \/><\/p>\n<p>then took a cruise on Mayuki.  couldn&#8217;t help but enjoy the beautiful ocean!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6255.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-91966\" \/><\/p>\n<p>this girl likes &#8220;freedom!&#8221;  i&#8217;m sure she&#8217;ll be surfing for many years to come.  you can see and feel the energy!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Screen-Shot-2018-07-02-at-3.25.17-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"721\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-91972\" \/><\/p>\n<p>then the boys arrived to Hawaii this morning, and we went surfing this afternoon.  so stoked to see Nishio-san and Yoshida-san back in Hawaii!
