BUT, after everybody telling me not to come because i will melt, i took their advice and decided to take my vacation right here in Hawaii.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6838.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"294\" height=\"430\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-92667\" \/><\/p>\n<p>this is probably the hottest summer ever recorded in Japan.  highs up to 38C and feels like 44C????  omg!  that&#8217;s 111 degrees!!!  people are dying everyday as thousands are getting hospitalized.  please to all my family and friends in Japan, please drink lots of water and keep yourself cool.  i&#8217;ll see you guys next month.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6836.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-92669\" \/><\/p>\n<p>since i have a whole week off, i&#8217;ve been surfing every morning and foiling every afternoon.  or foiling every morning and surfing every afternoon.  the waves keep coming and coming&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_6839-e1532319093786.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-92668\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and now since i don&#8217;t have to work early in the morning, i can actually stay out past 9pm!  but i&#8217;ve been waking up at 4:30am anyway.  haha. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Screen-Shot-2018-07-23-at-11.29.15-AM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"719\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-92672\" \/><\/p>\n<p>omg, this morning at Bowls was amazing!  the South swell continues and so are the locals!  check out Uncle Lance Ohata!  i&#8217;ve known this guy for 20 plus years.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Screen-Shot-2018-07-23-at-11.29.25-AM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"723\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-92670\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and Uncle Billy Blankenfield ripping too.  i&#8217;ve known this guy since i was 11 years old.  he use to live next to my Grandpa in Kuliouou and i use to always look up to him.  same till this day&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Screen-Shot-2018-07-23-at-11.28.57-AM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"725\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-92671\" \/><\/p>\n<p>then you have the bodyboarders drop kneeing and reminding me of my Sandy Beach days.  so stoked to share this wonderful Sunday with the boys.  <\/p>\n<p>i&#8217;ll be surfing, foiling, diving, and enjoying one of my longest vacations right here in Hawaii!  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>i took my 7 day vacation this month and was planning to go to Japan.
